Question Title Posted By Question Date
Regarding Scripure text JaniRose Tuesday, March 15, 2005

Question:

The reading for Sunday March 6 was 1 Samuel 16:1b,6-7,10-13a.
What do the letters stand for when we see this?
Thank you.

Question Answered by Mr. Jacob Slavek

Dear Janirose,

This simply means that only part of the actual scripture verse is included in the reading.  "B" would mean the second part, "a" the first part, etc.

Mr. Slavek
