Guide for praying the LOH Fred Friday, June 1, 2007

Question:

I looked through the old forum and did not see a guide on how to pray the LOH. I did find where there maybe a guide/on line tutorial possibly in the works. I was curious to see if that was in existence yet?

If not, I have a copy of the Christan Prayer: The Liturgy of the Hours Catholic Book Publishing Corp. New York 1976 (ISBN 089942-406-6) and I am curious to know if you know of a resource that could help me to learn to use this. Thanks you and God Bless!

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM

Dear Fred:

I will answer this question since I was the one that was suppose to have finished a tutorial on the LOH.

I originally promised this back in 1999. It is eight years later and I still haven't finished it. In the meantime someone else has done a tutorial. That tutorial is not as good as mine will be :) but it is done an mine is not.  That tutorial is found on the Rosary Shoppe website.

I am currently working on a Doctorate in Sacred Theology and I think my adviser is going to require me to finish the LOH tutorial as part of my degree requirements, so I guess I will have to finish it.

In the meantime, try the Rosary Shoppe tutorial.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary the bad (procrastinator)
