souls of aborted babies and demoinc possession M.P Thursday, July 15, 2010

Question:

Recent sceintific discoveries indicate how the cells of the unborn baby live in the mother 's body for even 40+ years !

Could the demonic effects of abortion thus have an impact on the baby , through this existence in the mother , in such a way that the baby's soul also gets tormented , till set free in an indefinite future !

Reason to draw more attention to this possibilty is that many persons may be under the lie that these babies go to heaven right away , which inturn seem to mitigate the seriousness of the act .

The Church in wisdom only asks that these babies be entrusted to God's mercy .

It may be her compassion for the parents that The Church does not spell out the possibilty of children of abortion ( not miscarriages ) may have a hard time even hereafter and that some of the effects on the parents or even down generations may be related to this struggle of the baby with demonic powers !

This could be a possibilty even in unintended abortion by use of pills too !

Are you aware of any such teachings in this area ?
It may be critical for our times that persons and polititians come to recognise such a possibilty , to spare much misery for many !

Thank you for answers !

Dear MP:

Live babies cannot live in the mother for 40 years. If that were the case the mother would be carrying, for example, a 200 pound 40 year old son in her womb.

Thus, I have no idea what you are talking about and can find nothing on the Internet about these "studies" you are mentioning.

If you mean that cells from an aborted baby may exist for up to 40 years, that is not a baby. That is individual cells.

Why would a baby, or anyone, who was murdered have a hard time? When we die, and this includes unborn babies, we undergo an immediate "Particular Judgment" and our souls are either ushered into heaven (perhaps through purgatory), or ushered into hell. Innocent babies do no go to hell. And only the damned would have their souls harassed after death.

The "sins of the fathers" only applies to the living here on earth. Murdered babies are no longer living on this earth. Our souls are entrusted to God after we die. What our parents did or didn't do, no longer applies.

I do not know where you get the idea that it is a lie that unborn babies do not go to heaven right away. The Church has never said such a thing that I am aware of.

The Catechism states:

1261 As regards children who have died without Baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God, as she does in her funeral rites for them. Indeed, the great mercy of God who desires that all men should be saved, and Jesus' tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them," allow us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who have died without Baptism. All the more urgent is the Church's call not to prevent little children coming to Christ through the gift of holy Baptism.

All babies go to heaven.  Even Buddhist can go to heaven. The Church proclaims that:

Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation. (LG 16; cf. DS 3866-3872.)

If Buddhist in invincible ignorance may be saved, I think innocent babies will be too.

In addition, when there are no temporal issues to deal with a person goes straight to heaven when they die in a state of grace. Babies cannot have temporal issues to which would send them to purgatory. Sending babies to hell merely because they have not been baptized would be, I believe, an evil and a gross injustice since God does save people without baptism as the Church affirms.

We have no reason to suggest anything other than that unbaptized babies go to heaven as soon as they die.  The unknown factor whether or not unbaptized babies experience the beatific vision of God. That we do not know for sure.

When we die, including the unborn, we are escorted by the angels to the place God has for us.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
