Question: Hi brother, I bought a house last August and I noticed there are spots of wax in two rooms on the North west side wall of two of the bedrooms. The wax does not appear to be evenly spaced and they are tiny spots as if someone shook a candle at the wall. I thought they were due to candles hung on the wall perhaps but they are all over these two walls. I know an Indian couple owned it before me and I think an oriental couple before them. Just wondering if there could have been any odd superstitious or religious ceremonies done in relation to these two cultures. I have not seen or experienced anything out of the ordinary spiritually (aside from the occasional bad dream) it just strikes me as odd and I can't stop wondering about them. I've been meaning to ask for almost a year now. It bothers me also because my future child due soon will have one of these rooms. I am having a priest come anyways to bless my home and I already have a St. Benedict medal placed in every room of he house that is living space. I appreciate any feedback whether you have come across this before or not. Thank you and God Bless.
Question Answered by Dear George: The wax spots may have been where posters or pictures were placed on the wall. Wax can be used as a kind of adhesive to place posters and the like on the wall instead of thumbtacks or nails that leave holes. If nothing has been happening in the house, I would not worry about it. By the way, as for your "future child", if your wife is pregnant, this child is a child now, not in the future. You are already a father from the moment of conception. As a matter of course you should have your house blessed, as you have already planned, and especially to bless the room where your children will be.
