I think I may be experiencing some sort of either Paranormal Activity or some kind of presence that may be involved with spirits, and such.

A couple nights ago, I took some sleeping pills (2) and as I was falling asleep, I heard sounds. But not sounds that you could hear that could be going on in your room. I could hear them in my head. I would hear doors slamming, whispering, and someone going "ahh". But it was like it was inside of my head.

Then two nights ago, I was reading into Santería due to my hearing of my father's cousin becoming possessed by demons from being cursed by her neighbors. I do believe in Santería, I would never ever practice it, but I do believe that one could become cursed by it. Well later that night, I was reading into Santería and when I went to bed, every time I was just about to fall asleep something would wake me up. The first time, it sounded like something huge had fallen in my room, like my television. And it woke me up with a fright. An hour later, about five minutes after I closed my eyes to sleep, it felt like someone was poking me right under my eye. As soon as I opened my eyes, it felt like something (not someone) disappeared. Then my right knee felt like it was on fire, and I eventually slept around 7 that morning. Last night, I didn't experience so much as the awakenings but it felt like both my ankles were on fire.

I don't think I was/is/am cursed. However, I am really superstitious and I was wondering could possessions like what happened with my father's cousin be passed down, could that demon pass down the line to me? Does reading into different beliefs and religions as touchy as Santería somehow cause stuff like this to happen? Or am I just delusional? Help please.
