Despairing of finding help Mary Saturday, July 23, 2011

Question:

My daughter, who is now 14, has been having problems since she was a very young girl (cognitive, behavioral, OCD). I was told that her symptoms fell under the "autism umbrella." She has seen therapists and been on medications in the past, had an MRI (normal), etc.

The only time that my daughter improved is when she was recieving deliverance prayers from a priest at our parish; however, things never completely went away.

This priest has since moved on to a different assignment and the problems with my daughter have rapidly escalated.

She is normally a sweet, soft-spoken child but when these attacks are happening, she shows a level of hatred and malice that is frightening.

She has thrown and broken many glass items in the house, so that I have learned to hide what is irreplaceable.

She has locked me and her younger siblings out of the house, hid my phone, makes deliberate messes with paint, etc.

When this is happening, she will repeat things over and over, talk gibberish, spell things out loud, refuse to let me hug/touch her use foul language and says things she would never normally say.

It has escalated to the point where she is threatening suicide, tells me she thinks she is going crazy and can't even leave the house.

The priest at my parish has absolutely no idea what to do. I also contacted the Bishop's office in my diocese and they flat out told me that they do not provide any help of this kind.

I say deliverance prayers for her daily, we say the family rosary together daily (often she cant' say it with us), have had the house exorcised and blessed twice. Basically, we have done everything we are supposed to do and now I feel that only an exorcist can help us. I am feel so alone in this because I can't find the help we so desperately need.

Thank you for listening and God bless you.

Question Answered by

Dear Mary:

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I am sure you have explored all medical options.

As for any spiritual possibilities has there been any paranormal or other odd behavior or phenomena that surround your daughter or your household?

Assuming a spiritual connection I widthwise not only praying deliverance prayers but also other prayers that can be found in our Spiritual Warfare Catalog linked below. For example, if your daughter is exhibiting high levels of hatred there might be a demon of hatred to egg her on. In the Spiritual Warfare Catalog there is a prayer called, Rebuking Particular Spirits. Demons can be rebuked by referring to them according to their attributes. We are never to seek a demon's name. Calling them rather by their attributes such as, spirit of lust, greed, anger, malice, jealousy, etc.

Other prayers I would advise include Hedge Prayer of Protection, using both versions, one for your daughter specifically and one for your household. Look over the Catalog for other prayers that may be useful to you.

We will include your daughter and your family in the next Proxy Deliverance we perform. The Proxy Deliverance is where our team gets together to pray deliverance prayers for various people whom may not be our clients are who need special prayers. The personally pray for is not present during these prayers, hence the word "proxy".

It is important if your daughter is having problems that you and your husband be spiritually clean. This means more than having your sends forgiven and the Sacrament of Confession. It means renouncing all those "hooks" that demons may use as an excuse to stay in your life. These hooks may be trivial or major, but all hooks (which include past of occult activities, particular sins, and other matters) must be renounced. The sends of these activities are forgiven in the Sacrament, but the consequences may remain. This is why it is important to not only confessed these issues but also to renounce them.

Thus, I recommend that you and your husband go through and follow the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance link below. This will better prepare you to help your daughter.

It is also possible for us to help you directly, to personal consultation over the phone. Should that be needed please contact us.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
