Question: Dear Bro . Would a spirit be the cause of pulling a person away from the Catholic Church to the prodistin denominations. and over a period of some years.Or would it be due to a psychiatric illness .Although the person is on medication for the illness. The person seems to lie too even on the medication.I have prayed ,including the prayers on this site.There has been times of return to Catholic Church but short lived.So i cant help but wonder is it a spirit . Also if its a spirit of lies ,can this effect me and house hold members.I have noticed since the person stopped calling, one of family members who was not going out much is now in better form and out and about every day.May be a coincidence.I have spent hours on end speaking about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and the healing and strength that is given and the healing in confession.All i got was where does it say that in Bible.I have showed where it describes the Catholic teachings in Scriptures.it has been a complete waste of time.I no longer have this friend around ,due to enduring the brain washing prodistin man made belief that has a foot hold there.Brother is it the illness or is it spirit influences .Thanks for your help and prayers, including many that have been answered.

In virtually all cases, these people who defect from the Chruch do so because of pride and obedience issues. Whenever a person is consumed with pride and rebellion, it will attract demons. The demons are not causing this, but they love to poke their finger in to make matters worse than they would be otherwise. Continue to pray for this person, especially the Hedge Prayer for a Wayward Person. Keep in mind that you may never see the results of your prayers. God will not force anybody to do anything, but the prayers help to slice away like a onion the resistance of the wayward person. Question:

Dear Bro .
