Question: Hi, Brother, I hope I'm not repeating a question that has already been answered. I did a search and couldn't find an answer to this specific question: A friend's child goes to a daycare that has teachers who, while on break, do Tarot card readings on the premises. Is this harmful to the children? My friend spoke with one priest who said no while another priest said yes. What can be done about the Tarot card readings if it is harming the children? My friend's looking for another place for her child but is saddened as her child's attached to her teacher and this daycare has an excellent reputation. Interestingly, there used to be a teacher there who also did Tarot card readings but she is no longer there. Yet, whenever a teacher who's into this leaves that daycare, there's another one to take her place. This daycare is in an area where New Age and Yoga are quite popular. In fact, divination is a violation of the First Commendment. This is not a trivial thing. Your friend needs to immediately remove her child from this place.
