The National Organization For Marriage (NOM) is a fine organization. I fail to see anything in the NOMs literature that is a lie. Starbucks is, by its own admission, endorsing same-sex marriage. Here is the memorandum to prove it.

Websites like the New Civil Rights Movement (should be called the New Civil "Perverts" Movement) claims NOM is lying when it says:

We are urging customers across the globe to 'Dump Starbucks' because it has taken a corporate-wide position that the definition of marriage between one man and one woman should be eliminated and that same-sex marriage should become equally 'normal'.

On January 24th, 2012, Starbucks issued a memorandum declaring that same-sex marriage 'is core to who we are and what we value as a company.

The New Civil "Perverts" Movement website claims NOM is twisting the words from Starbucks. The Perverts say:

Here are Starbucks’ actual words, in a January letter to employees:

Starbucks is proud to join other leading Northwest employers in support of Washington State legislation recognizing marriage equality for same-sex couples. Starbucks strives to create a company culture that puts our partners first, and our company has a lengthy history of leading and supporting policies that promote equality and inclusion.

This important legislation is aligned with Starbucks business practices and upholds our belief in the equal treatment of partners. It is core to who we are and what we value as a company. (their emphasis)

Well, not quite. Perverts are always hypocrites and liars. After the sentence in bold is the following:

We are proud of our Pride Alliance Partner Network group, which is one of the
largest Employer Resource Groups for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employees in the U.S., helping to raise awareness about issues in the communities where we live and work.

The New Civil "Perverts" Movement claims Starbucks is not anti-traditional marriage, but is just concerned with equality of marriage (for perverts). What a bunch of horse manure.

To support sodomite/buggery "marriage" is to redefine marriage and by that it does violence against traditional marriage.  The institution of marriage cannot be both "traditional" and "perverted" at the same time. One excludes the other. The logic of a four year old can understand this. A traditional stuffed bear is not a new fangled stuffed dog and to try to tell the child that the stuffed dog will now be considered a new form of stuffed bear, but the child can still have the traditional bear if she wants, will not fly with any four year old.

But, then again, I live in a country (the U.S.) that is the most profoundly immature culture in the world. Britain is not far behind.

Such nonsense is what happens when a culture not only abandons God, but tries to suppress Him. We get a culture where human opinion is supreme. Well, you know what they say about opinions!

Contrary to the "opinions" of the Perverts-R-Us-Hear-Us-Whimper crowd, objective sins and objective evil actually exists. Here are a few: sodomite/buggery sex, deviant sex, all sex outside of marriage between one man and one woman, contraception, abortion, assisted suicide, euthanasia, eugenics, and all the rest. That is not opinion, but absolute fact declared by God. Anyone who disagrees with God on this is risking his soul to hell.

When the evil doer is an alleged Christian it is far worse. In fact, St. Paul has the harshest words for a Christian living in such filth. He says:

(1 Cor 5:11) But rather I wrote to you not to associate with any one who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or robber--not even to eat with such a one.

St. Paul's advice concerning people who propose heresies and other doctrinal errors is also harsh, but true:

(Titus 3:10-11) As for a man who is factious, after admonishing him once or twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is perverted and sinful; he is self-condemned.

We must always remember the works of the flesh can send us to hell. In fact, Fatima visionary Jacinta Marto was told by our Blessed Mother: "More souls go to Hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason."

 Again, St. Paul instructs us:

(Gal 5:19-21)  Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If your cousin is in favor for homosexual "marriage", that is, in favor of sodomy/buggery and other sexual deviance, and wishes our society to endorse it, then by definition she is a pervert, too, and risking her soul.

Pray for her and for all the many, many, many perverts out there. We will be praying for your cousin.
