Possible Spirit of Former Tenant	Kimberly	Friday, July 6, 2012
Question: Hello Brother, A friend of mine told me about this site and I have a question about a former tenant (now deceased) who use to live in my apartment building. I've lived in my building for 30 years now and I really love it here. When I moved here, I lived on a lower floor but because I reside with another relative; I needed an extra bedroom. The tenant who use to live in my apartment that I currently have, switched apartments with me through our Apartment Management, in which both of us were pleased. However ever since I've moved here, I've had bouts with sickness as well as my relative and guest whom have visited us too. The tenant who use to live here had several illnesses such as Gout, partial blindness in one eye, heart problems and more. I was told by another neighbor, that he also had a substance abuse problem but recovered. Unfortunately he passed away he the late 90's, but the person who moved into this man's apartment suffers with multiple ailments and was healthy before he moved in. My building is a complex type of environment, as there are several buildings ajoined together and I'd like to possibly move to a new apartment depending on my Management's availabilty. As there have been days when I may have a slight headache or some other minor ailment; but if I'm at one of my relative's home or at a friend's house I feel fine. Is it a possibility that this former tenant may have left some bad spiritual entities in my home and if so what can I do to get rid of it until I am able to move? Also this man had multiple faiths. As he once was a Christian, became a Jehovah Witness, then followed the Muslim faith and last that a know was into the Rastafarian religion. He was a very nice man, but I don't know if him participating in several faiths caused problems. If you could give me some information as to whether I need help and prayer with this situation; I would be very grateful. God Bless, Kimberly
Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r) Dear Kimberly: It is not likely that the deceased tenant is hanging around. He has gone into eternity. What is more likely is that demons are causing the phenomena. From what you describe this man was very confused. His involvements, especially with the Rastafarians, could easily attract demons. What you need to do, what all people need to do when moving into a new apartment or house, or even staying in a motel room, is to bless the domicile. This can be done with a simple blessing with Holy Water and the Trinitarian Formula. In the case of a house or apartment infested with demonic activity, the more powerful and direct House Cleansing and Blessing prayer we have in our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog, linked below, would be the way to go. This prayer can be said by the you alone, a priest is not required but would be nice, or I can lead you through it over the phone. Holy Water should be available in every Catholic Parish and a Catholic priest should agree to bless a quantity of Holy Salt, and sufficient numbers of St. Benedict medals to be placed in each room of the house. This is all predicated on you personally committing to live the best Christian life you know how to live, with daily prayers and bible reading, devotions, and Sunday Church, etc. (For Catholics, participating in the Sacraments regularly with Sunday obligations, etc.) If you do not do that then the demons have an excuse to remain in your home, and even follow you to your next home.
