Question: My son was the object of a miracle that happened to him when I took him to an adoration chapel. I witnessed this first hand, and after the miracle happened, he fell to his knees and gave his life to Jesus and the Catholic Church. Since then, he has been viciously attacked in his sleep with terrible accusatory dreams and (to use the words of my son) "I am forced to relive my worst sins over and over in my dreams". He is getting less then 2 hours sleep per night. What, in conjunction with prayer, can we do to fight back?
Question Answered by Dear Mike: I have moved you question to this forum since you are asking about an issue of Spiritual Warfare. I praise God for the miracle your son experienced. Unfortunately, such a wonderful gift and experience is not liked by the devil. The devil is trying to rob your son of the grace he received, trying to rob him of his peace in Christ. I would advise praying some of the prayers in our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog, linked below. I especially recommend the Hedge Prayer of Protection, the Bedtime Prayer of Protection, and the Rebuking Particular Spirits. For their last one, you can identify the evil spirits that are attacking by their attributes, such as the spirit of fear, spirit of lust, spirit of whatever. You need to bless your son with Holy Water every morning and each night as he goes to bed. If needed a blessing with Holy Water can be done multiple times throughout the day. His bed and bedroom should be blessed with a three-fold blessing of Holy Water, Holy Salt, and a blessed St. Benedict medal placed somewhere in the room where it will not be disturbed. I also recommend playing Gregorian Chant all night long in his bedroom. The volume should be turned down so that it does not disturb your son's sleep. There is also another CD that seems to be anointed called, Sleep Sound in Jesus. I highly recommend this CD by Michael Card. This CD is a collection of lullabies, but is good for older children and for adults. It is truly anointed and is very effective in keeping demons away. Again, Just play the CD all night long in the child's bedroom with volume low so as not to disturb sleep. The singing of these Godly lullabies tends to keep the demons away. This CD can be used throughout the house. Play the CD low to that it blends into the background and it tends to reduce tension in the house, tension and irritability between spouses and generally brings a sense of peace. There are no guarantees, of course, but we have found this CD to be very effective. You son needs to remember that God promises that: "We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28) This is a promise of God and God keeps his promises, he does not lie. Thus, there will be something good to come out of this. The more severe the attacks the greater tasks God may have for you son. This is a test of perseverance. It will come to an end. Question:

I have moved you question to this forum since you are asking about an issue of Spiritual Warfare.
