Question: My question is in regards to my spouse. She has struggled nearly her entire life with OCD and Depression. About a year ago, she had the opportunity to speak for several hours with a priest who has the gift of reading souls and does much work in healing and deliverance. He told her that she had the spirit of a witch entangled around her soul and that she was chosen by someone in her family in generations past. He told her that she had witches on both maternal and paternal sides. Indeed, my wife concurred that this was correct. She has had some minor manifestations, but not to where I believe she is possessed. He told her that he would need to do more work with her, but we haven't been able to meet with him since he travels so much. Does anyone have any suggestions? We do, of course, pray together as a family and regularly attend the sacraments, but it seems to be getting worse. What do you do in a situation like this? We are told she needs further help, but we have no idea how to get it without people thinking we are crazy. Thank you for any advice you can provide.

First is that your wife (and you as head of house) need to take authority over the household. Prayers in our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog, linked below, contain such prayers such as the Hedge Prayer Protection. There is a version for the household and a version for a person. Use any of the prayers that are pertinent to your wife's situation. Your wife also needs to pray the Renunciation of Ancestral Sins. This prayer is designed to rid oneself of demons that are attracted to the family because of ancestors or other family members sin. Secondly, your wife needs to work on the Seven Steps for Self-Deliverance, linked below. Thirdly, it would be wise to do a Healing of the Family Tree. We have information about how to do that by downloading a zip file containing the information: Geneogram If all these things do not provide some relief for your wife after 2-3 months, then she may wish to contact us for a personal consultation and possible formal deliverance.
