Question: i feel that a curse has been placed on me? everything in my life is not going great...i pray to God all the time but i feel that he doesn't hear me and the oppisite of what i pray for always happens..i have been greatly depressed and feel that i have been cursed...is there such a thing as a curse and if so, how can i lift it off me?
Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM Dear Jenn: I am sorry to hear about your situation. Please know that God loves you. He will never abandon you, and He does here you. Curses do exist and can be the cause, or one cause, of life problems. I would advise you look at the Help section of our Website, linked below. There you will find advice about how to try to handle this yourself. Also linked is the Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog. You need to pray the Hedge Prayer of Protection and the prayer dealing with breaking of spells. If the self-help advice and prayer do not help, then you may need to request personal consultation. We are not taking new clients until January, but then you can request a consultation if you need. The link for consulations will be at the bottom of the HELP page. The depression could be from a medical problems rather then a curse, or at least have a medical element in addition to any effects from a curse. A lot of depression can be resolved by becoming active. Going out and exercising for a couple of months will break a LOT of depression.
