Question: Dear Brother, I have been saying many of the prayers of the site, as well as others which have helped me a lot, however I still feel there are some strongholds and soul ties that I need to overcome. For example, I have not had the best relationships over the years and one in particular made me never want to get married, as he was very lazy, and addicted to sex and I saw our relationship going nowhere. Years later, I began a platonic friendship with a man who was into Santeria. I was not attracted to this man, however he was attracted to me, and when I rejected his advances; I noticed that I had a multitude of problems and whenever I have met someone that I'm interested in and seems to be interested in me; it never works out, whereas I believe this particular individual may have cursed me into not obtaining happiness with a man. Because I'm getting older and would like to get married some day, I've have been saying the Curse Breaking Prayers and prayers related to strongholds and soul ties; but I had a strange experience while saying them recently. I was saying a prayer relating to strongholds and soul ties. In this prayer it stated to mentioned the name of the person and the sin attached, in which I did. However, the name of a former classmate came to my mind, which I found strange. This classmate and I, attended Junior High and High School together. In Junior High, I tried to be friends with this young lady but she was extremely jealous of me and would always start trouble. I stopped trying to be friends with her and just left her alone, but when she attended my High School things changed, as we began a friendship, would go to each other's households and got along until she started a vicious and untrue rumor about me, which led to a terrible argument and the friendship ended for good whereas we never spoke again. This young lady was from a country that is known to practice Voodoo and I heard her discussing witchcraft one time with another classmate, but did not take it seriously as I was a teenager at the time and didn't know much about those things. With her being jealous of me and because of the prayers I'm doing to break strongholds and soul ties; could my former classmate have sent some negativity to me? As it just seemed strange that during my prayers, this person came to mind and I haven't thought about her in years, but in regards to my relationships with men that I've had; none of them were successful. If you could give me some insight about this and strongholds and soul ties in general; I would appreciate. Thank you, God Bless, Crystal

One cannot always know in advance, of course. It is always a disaster waiting to happen to make friends with occult people in they will have no problems casting curses, hexes, and the like if they decide not to like you, are jealous of you, or wish to take revenge against you for some reason. The reason this high school classmate came to mind is likely that she is a source of curses as well. You need to do more than praying prayers to break curses and soul ties, and prayers of protection, you need to forgive these people. Dear Brother,

It would be prudent, as best as possible, to not make friends with occult people. One cannot always know in advance, of course.
