Question: Dear Brother, Two years ago I emailed you regarding my next door neighbor being a witch, her family involved in Fremasonary and the fact that her and her family were harrassing me and my mother on a regular basis. First of all I'd like to thank you for your help. I have done everything you have suggested. I have been praying constantly, your prayers and Novenas to the Blessed Mother. As a result demonic activity in the house is pretty much gone as far as things flying off the shelf and other activity and we have been getting more sleep. However, about six or 7 months ago she has been served papers every month at the same time. I think she's losing her house. She was able to get a mortgage in 2006 without having a job. Since then her attacks have changed somewhat but are still bad. I always try to pay attention to anything she may be doing if I can stop it in some way on the physical level. One morning I woke up to the phrase being repeated in my head " I love my babysitter". I don't have children but she does babysitting from home. Is she trying to telepathically hypnotize the mother of one of the children she's watching? I've experienced other things as well which I would call a hypnotic trigger. For example - every time I look out the window I get a click in my ear. I reversed this by saying the opposite and it stopped. Have you ever heard of this and how can I stop this hypnosis. Is this demonic or is her mind power extremely strong. She has also tried to sexually assault me in my sleep and even at times while I'm awake. I pray a lot over this to stop it. She has at times somehow mentally influenced my mother in some way to say things that have been mean to me and then she doesn't remember it. I believe from her attacks she is the cause of my mother having to be admitted into the hospital but is now out. Any additional advise you can give me is much appreciated. also, is it wrong for me to pray that she leaves our lives so we can have peace. May God Bless You for all the good you are doing.

I am not sure why you would experience an increase in activity because your neighbor is losing her house. I suppose it is possible that her anxiety about losing the house could attract more demonic activity. Although I personally do not see a motive for her to seek revenge upon you, who knows, human beings can do unusual finds for unusual reasons. As far as telepathic hypnosis do not fear, there is no such thing. Since this phrase, "I love my babysitter," occurred as you are waking up, the more likely explanation is that it was a result of a dream. If this dream had any relationship at all to your neighbor it would be because you know that she does babysitting. I don't think it's anything more than that. We have to be very careful about spiritualizing every experience. The click in the ear is probably a similar experience. Coincidentally, when you looked out the window, you felt that click in the ear, which is a common natural phenomenon, but that you presumed to be related to something your neighbor is doing. After that, each time you looked out the window you experienced the clicking, most likely psychologically caused because you are expecting it. This is a common experience to which we all have from time to time. It is similar to the placebo effect. If we are given a pill and told the pill will cure our headache our headache may actually be cured, not because of any effect of the pill, but because we believed the pill could cure us. How did this woman sexually assault you? Did she break into your house and physically assault you? If she did, call the police and file charges. If you're talking about a spiritual assault that would be demonic and is handled by prayer. As such, this attack may have nothing to do with the neighbor but is an attack of demons independent of her. You need to stop presuming everything is caused by this woman. I think, Anna, you are putting much too much power in the hands of your neighbor. Presuming that your neighbor has all this power over you and your family will cause you to interpret events in a placebo fashion, or even a superstitious fashion. This woman cannot affect your minds, or cause physical events, in the way that you describe. You need to trust in God instead of trusting and some alleged occultic power that you think this woman has. God is more powerful than the devil and more powerful than this woman. You need to stop giving this woman all this power. By doing so you most likely are causing these events yourself by the psychological effects of placebo and superstitious thinking, presuming that she is the cause of everything. By giving her all this power also allows actual demons to exploit your presumptions and do really attack you. Thus, you must stop focusing on this woman and begin to focus on Christ. St. Peter actually walked on water until he took his eyes off Christ and noticed all the storms around him. This woman is a storm, so stop looking at her and begin looking at Christ. Pray the Hedge Prayer Protection found in our prayer catalog link below. Rebuke any spirits that you believe are present using our Rebuking Particular Spirits prayer also found in the catalog. You also need to bless this woman. Ask God to heal her and to help her come to a faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus said we are to bless those who persecute us. One reason for that, I believe, is that to bless our enemies is not only an act of charity to which we are all called to practice, but also it takes the focus off of the negative aspects of that relationship and instead refocuses our mind off our selves and on to God and his love and mercy. In my opinion, this is what you must do. Keep your eyes on Christ and not on the storms of this woman. Pray the prayer protection, and if necessary pray the rebuking prayer should any evil spirits bother you, and also pray prayers of blessing for your tormentor. To refocus in this way, I believe, will eventually change your life. It may not happen overnight, but it will happen eventually. You must persevere and not give into the temptation of focusing on this woman. You need to especially stop giving this woman power over you with the presumptions of what you think she may be doing.
