Jerks appearing in my body during praying, has stopped francis Tuesday, November 24, 2015

Question:

It is in connection to the reply I got on the jerks dated 23/3/2015. I prayed, more or less, as suggested by you in the reply, and it has got stopped.

In the meanwhile it occurred once while I was praying (personally) a simple deliverance prayer for one of my students. I rebuked it immediately.

Now I keep on praying against these jerks on a daily basis, in case of any residues. Should I keep on praying for it and how long? I don't want to take a chance any more.

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), CCL, LTh, DD, LNDC

Dear Francis:

I praise God that the jerks have stopped. You are responding correctly when the attack happened again as you were praying for a student. This is not unusual since praying for someone is not something the devil wants you to do. Your response to immediately rebuke the spirit was the correct response.

As for continued prayer, normally when the attacks quit the prayer is no longer needed except when an isolated incident occurs, such as your pray for your student. But, this is you decision according to what you believe is needed. Isolated incidents can still occur no matter how much you pray. Bottomline is that the frequency of your prayers is up to your discretion.

As for praying deliverance for one of your student, I caution you that unless one is trained to do deliverance properly people can get hurt. The intercessory prayers in our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog, linked below, are okay.

At the bottom of the list in that Catalog are prayers for the professional in praying for patients/clients/students, etc. I would advise using them especially in the context of being a teacher.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
