Question: I think I have seen and felt a demon twice. Once I was sleeping and the most frightening dark shadow came over me and I work up screaming. Recently, I was sleeping and I awoke to a skeleton type face with a black hood just staring at me. I was not scared like the time before but this things eyes were deep black holes and it just slowly went backwards and faded away. I was just numb watching it. Could these be demons? Each of these events have taken place after seeking spiritual advice from a priest who has helped me change my life around. Thank You.

However, since this happened in close proximity to your consulting a priest who helped you make major changes in your life, it may have been a demonic attack. The devil does not like us advancing in spiritual maturity or changing our lives for the better. Thus, he may attack us to try to sabotage us. If this happened only twice I would not worry about it. Take it as a compliment that the devil noticed your life changing for the better and that he could do nothing about it. You won the battle.
