padre pio heart removed Jimmy Saturday, May 18, 2019

I recently read that padre pio's heart was removed and it is kept in a special container. Do you know why his heart was removed? It seems to me there must be some secret the Vatican is keeping for this to be done, but I can't figure out why? Do you know anyone associated with the relics of padre pio to find out why?

I recently went to a viewing of the relics touring the U.S.A but they were only showing piece of hair, bloody glove, piece of cloth with blood stain on it and one of his robes? I believe last year I heard of the heart being displayed too in the u.s.a but am not sure? I'm really perplex as to why they would cut out a person's heart?

Question #1 Why did they cut out padre Pio's heart?

Question #2 Do you know of any other saint that the vatican cut out their Heart? I bet there is some secret reason, but I would be extremely lucky if the vatican will share it with us.

Thanks yours in christ. Jimmy

P.S. sorry to hear about your health problems. Hope you get better. I'm not worried if you don't know answer or are too sick to answer Hope you get better soon.

Dear Jimmy:

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers concerning my health. It kind of comes and goes.

There is no secret to any of this. Body parts are routinely removed from the body of a saint to preserve them as sacramentals and for veneration by the Faithful. Sometimes entire bodies are kept in glass reliquaries, other times various body parts are remove and the rest of the body buried in a grave. This is all normal. There is no secret or conspiracy.

I would advise you to not focus upon secrets and conspiracies. 99.9999% of alleged secrets and conspiracies are totally false. If there is something you do not understand do not jump to the rash judgment of secrets and conspiracies. Instead, seek to find the answers to your questions.

In this case, there is no reason for a secret as doing such things are routine.

As to the hearts of other saints, yes there are others. St. John Vianney is one. His heart toured the U.S. in 2018. His heart was removed 45 years after his death and was found incorrupt. St. Teresa of Avila is another who had her heart removed.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
