Black smokey apparitions with piercing eyes	Nova	Thursday, March 22, 2007
Question: My 16 year old son has been seeing a smokey apparition with piercing eyes watching him and following him. Please help me figure out what this is and how to get rid of it. I have already sprinkled holy water all over the house as I prayed. I have also sprinkled him while he was sleeping and prayed over him. I have prayed with him also. He is afraid. He is awakened at night by this smoke - when he sees it - he sees its eyes and then it hurries away through the window. He sees it follow the car when driving at night as well. I feel that it is evil - I feel that it is waiting for a vulnerable moment to sway him to the dark side. (the devil) It started at the beginning of Lent. Please help us.

You are doing the right things, such has blessing the house and your son with holy water and praying with him. I would also suggest some of the spiritual warfare prayers found in our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog. The prayers entitled, "Prayer for our Children," "Hedge Prayer for Protection of Household," "Resisting Satan’s Attack Against Our Household," and perhaps "Rebuking Particular Spirits Affecting the Household" would be useful in your case. The period of Lent is a season of the year that the devil dislikes, but I would suspect there may be other factors that triggered all this. Maybe not, I don't know. There is little more I can suggest on this forum without knowling a lot more information other than keep on praying, but pray spiritual warfare prayers, go before the Blessed Sacrament, pray the rosary together, and other devotional practices. If your local priest is willing, has him to come over and bless the house. If the local priest does not wish to do this, then we can help you bless the house over the phone.
