Question: Dear Brother Ignatius Mary, While looking at some other part of your website Something I saw prompted me to search my bookshelf and I spoted a book on angels published by a Theosophical Publishing House.I recently aquired this book from my Dad while helping him clean out his library. I was taking home all the books he had on angels. I haven't read it. I saw the theosophy name on it and knew I wouldn't read it. I forgot about it. This was around Christmas that I brought it home. Anyway, I want to get rid of it. I'm not sure if there are any precautions I should take. I do not want the book to be put back into circulation. I thought I would just burn it out back but I saw some where in passing about the need for proper disposal of occult stuff. Something about burial. Anyway how should I dispose of this book safely? Ignatius Mary, OLSM Dear Tom: There are two things you can do. 1) is to bless the book with holy water and then burn it and bury it in the backyard; or 2) you can donate it to us. We use books like that in our training program for deliverance counselors. It is helpful in teaching our students about the "doctrines of demons".
