Question: I have been under much oppresion lately, having dreams of being held down my things I cannot see. I hear voices in my home, most of which are gurgled screams, especially before and during prayer. I was supposed to stay for a few days at a local monastery and the brothers were going to have deliverance prayers for me. But I had a dream the other night that there were people at the monastery yelling at me telling me I could not come there and that I go there too often. I awoke from the dream and it was just after 3am! I grabbed my rosary and went before the image of the Divine Mercy. As I was lighting a candle and beginning the chaplet there was a shrill screach in my left ear. This sort of thing is happening more and more. I don't know what else to do except keep praying and go to Confession and Communion as much as possible. And also the monks called me today and said I cannot come this week, because all of the sudden they are all mysteriously ill! Are the demons that are afflicting me causing other people to suffer too because of me? Please help!

If that is the case, demons will do all they can to keep you and anyone who helps you from getting rid of them. While the illness of the monks may be a coincidence, it is possible their illness is related to them planning to help you. I have had this sort of thing happen to me just before I was to do a deliverance on someone. It happens. Do not listen to the voices in the dream. Continue to work with the monks.
