My dreams; can they be the evil ones influence ? Renee Sunday, July 6, 2008

Question:

Hi, Brother

I have had several dreams that come true. Whether they be small insignificant things (mom offering me a cinnomon roll; she hadnt done this in 10 years !) it will happen the next day. Or telling my boss who was concealing her pregnancy I dremt she was pregnant (a son; I was right).

Then I had dreams I was in a war; a man in 1954. I researched; there was a war at that time. Im not saying I believe in past lives; but I wonder if there is an evil spirit trying to make me believe there are (I once belived this in my life).

I spoke with a Baptist about this. He said I need to pray to God to make these dreams stop. I pray to the saints and God and they happen even more often; I never pray for them to stop but I do pray for other people, etc.

Please help me to understand where these dreams come from.

And if I should rebuke them somehow.

Thank you

Dear Renee:

I am sorry I have not responded to your question earlier. My computer crashed and I am just now back on the Internet and trying to catch up.

I would agree with the Baptist that you ought to pray specifically to God to ask Him to stop these or any other dreams that are not from Him.

If a dream is leading you to to think about past lives that dream either has to be a product of your imagination (as most dreams are) or it was demonically inspired since "past lives" is something that does not exist and is contrary to God's plan for human beings.

In our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog there is a prayer, "Rebuking Particular Spirits". You can use that pray for rebuke the spirits of your dreams. You can say it that way -- "I rebuke you evil spirits of my dreams" and then later in the prayer, "I replace the evil spirits of my dreams with the Spirit of God and all that He permits in my dreams.

There is also a Bedtime Prayer of Protection in the Catalog too.

Try those prayers and see if that helps any.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
