Question: My mistake was sending in a request AT ALL. I did not even do research on this psychic. It seems she is a scam. This is the first time I have done this. I sent in a form with some information, like my birthdate, and with the problem. I haven't heard from her yet as it was only a generic form but I've read from some emails posted by others that she does some sort of rituals. The emails posted by these people are mostly concerning the financial scams. I am afraid though that she might try to put on some occult spell of which I am not aware of and cause some disturbance in my life. Is it possible to forever rebuke any spells which this woman may try to place on me? She does require that you give her permission which I will never do but what I want is to break off any ties between us and to no longer have to worry about her casting any spells on me without my knowing it. Thank you and please pray for me.
Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM Dear Nadine: As a Christian you should no better than to seek anything from a psychic. Consulting a psychic is a violation of the First Commandment. It is a serious sin. You need to ask God's forgiveness, repent of this sin, and never do it again, or anything similar to it. You also need to renounce this activity. Asking God's forgiveness, repenting, and renouncing this activity will restore you to friendship with God. That should be sufficient. If you wish you can also pray the Breaking Spells and Curses in our SW Prayer Catalog linked below. There is no reason to presume that this person with cast some spell or curse, but the renouncing your contacting the psychic and and the prayer to break any spell or curse should be sufficient to deal with this situation.
