Hello Brother. I would like to know if it is really true that the "veil" is thin between the "worlds" at this time of year. Exactly what does this mean?

I had some negative, unexplainable things happen to me that went on for about a week leading up to Halloween many years ago, in 1993. It involved something coming into my room at 3:00am every night and staying for roughly one half hour. I had one of those trick Halloween door mats that make a scary sound when you step on them set-up in the doorway of my bedroom and it would go-off each night at exactly 3:00am, and then again at 3:30am. I was not imagining it because I was living with my parents at the time and this annoyed them; they thought I was getting up to go to the bathroom and stepping on the mat; but when it would happen, I was laying in bed. I left the mat in place after the first instance because I wanted to see if it would reoccur, and it did for several nights in a row.

I got a very negative, scary feeling as if whatever it was hated me and wanted to hurt me. The most intense of these visitations was at 3:00am on Halloween night. The thing, whatever it was, stepped on the mat again and again, over and over, as if it was trying to scare me. I must admit, I was very scared, but I just prayed silently and eventually it went away.

One strange thing is that it came back that morning at around 6:00am, because I was sleeping on my stomach and I heard a strong, clear, distinct voice in my head that said "If you value your soul at all turn around now!" I did so, immediately, and I felt and heard a rush of wind, as if whatever had been hovering over me was frightened and took off quickly, leaving a vapid, sulfurous stench behind.

This was Halloween morning 1993; I was 23 back then. I am 39 now and it has not bothered me since. Could this have been a demonic attack due to the "veil" being thin at Halloween? Is it possible that the voice I heard that morning was my Guardian Angel? Thanks, Brother.
