Question:

I have been suffering demonization for almost 2yrs and have lost much. I have a priest who is spiritual directing me in this struggle. The awful dreams have stopped along with the voices. However I suffer from internal "constricting" as if by serpents in my mind and abdomin which has really hindered me from obeying my director in the quest for employment.

On 1 or 2 days of the weak I seem to be 90% liberated as if the demonic had never even happened. I praise God for this then I again encounter terrible torment to the point of hopelessness no matter how much adoration or mass or prayer. This is causing some terrrble spirtual fatigue. I was able to get out and apply for employment.

I am worried about my future. When is it time to seek further help?

I think I addressed all hooks and trying to cooporate with God's grace to the best of my ability. I have fasted and still do. My impatience getting the best of me. I have read about the pride associated to it recently so that on my confession list. The hardest thing is keeping a vision for permenant liberation.

Thank you for your ministry for where else would we go to even get consideration to our spiritual battles. Mostly no one believes our battle. Not even our family or Diocese. Silently suffering from my sins-Tom

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM

Dear Tom:

I am sorry to hear about this. Does your spiritual director know how to help you with this?

You ask when should you ask for additional help. I would suggest now is the time. From what you describe it would appear that you need a more directed deliverance.

If you spiritual director is not sure how to proceed and your diocese is not helpful, then perhaps we an attempt to help you.

There is a HELP REQUEST link at the bottom of the HELP page linked below. We are not open for new clients at the moment, but will be after the first of the year.

We will be praying for you.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
